Hollow

My 4-year-old daughter's first Illustration Friday!(awwwww! scrapbook moment!) She used colored pencils, a marker and her wicked imagination to create this lovely piece in a moleskine journal.

She was kind enough to provide some narration so we may have some insight into the artist's mind.

As for the topic, I asked her what she thought of when she heard the word, "hollow" (this week's word) and she said, "hollow tree". So there you have it kids!

Enjoy!

Thank you so much for putting this up! I'm sending this to some friends - it's good to be reminded of what it was like to draw when you were 4. I love, too, how she's using mommies art supplies. :D She's amazing!
